City Beach Surfers were crowned premiers in all three division 1 age groups at the Perth Netball Association grand finals held on Saturday.

In the Open division, City Beach defeated Classics by 5 goals 45 to 50 in a see-sawing contest.  City goal attack Gen Ehlers capped off a successful season by taking home the Robyn Summers award for Most Valuable Player in the grand final.

The Year 9-12 division 1 grand final, also played between City Beach and Classics, resulted in a more comfortable victory for City Beach.  A 9 goal lead at quarter time grew to 25 by the final whistle.  Kathryn Byrne from City Beach was named MVP.

The Year 7/8 grand final was a nail-bitter, with scores deadlocked at the three-quarter time break.  City Beach broke away from Classics in the last quarter to claim a two-goal victory, 34 to 36.  Grace Hepworth playing wing attack and centre for City Beach was named MVP.

The champagne corks were also popping down at the Wembley Netball Club after they claimed 5 of the 13 Open Division titles.  Click HERE for a full list of premiership teams.
