Lincoln Campbell is this year’s recipient of the Bette Allison Coaching Award, announced at the end of season sundowner last Saturday.  The Bette Allison Coaching Award is given to a coach of a PNA team at the Association Championship weekend who displays an aptitude and desire to progress through the coaching development pathway.

Lincoln coaches Westcoasters Year 9-12 Division 1 team and PNA teams in both Association Championships.  This year, Lincoln led his 15s and under PNA team to victory at the Association Championships weekend after finishing runners-up the year before.

PNA Development Officer, Tibbie Galbraith, said that Lincoln is a very worthy recipient of the prestigious award.  “Lincoln is a valued coach at PNA, who is incredibly passionate about his coaching.  Lincoln creates an intense and positive training environment, communicates clearly and is very well organised.”

The Award is named after PNA Life Member and legendary netball coaching icon, Bette Allison.  This year, the award was presented by Don Leyland, who’s own coaching career blossomed under Bette’s guidance at Royals.
