Information on traffic and parking in and around the Matthews Netball Centre on match days is outlined in the PNA Traffic and Parking Info Sheet 2022. Please note the following important points:
- Extra parking bays are now available at the western end of Salvado Rd near the intersection of Selby Street. These were previously drop-off and pick-up only.
- There are a number of additional parking options available within a short walk of Matthews. These include the AIM carpark (entry via Birkdale Street), two carparks off Jersey Street behind Henderson Park and Mabel Talbot Park and the Jolimont Primary School (entry off Hay Street).
- There is no parking permitted for netball patrons on either Friday or Saturday in the new Parkside Walk Estate
- Drop off / Pick up zones are located on the access road between the football oval and Matthews. Please keep these free for dropping off and picking up only (driver must remain in the vehicle).
- Please cooperate with PNA parking and traffic staff on site.
- Respect local residents and obey parking signs. Council rangers do patrol the streets and the Wembley Sports Park precinct on match days and will hand out infringements for anyone found breaking local parking regulations.
