PNA runs courses to assist coaches of all ages and skill levels in their development, and can assist coaches towards gaining Netball Australia accreditation.
There is also a range of great online resources and tools to assist with all aspects of becoming a great coach.
PNA Coaching Clinics
Attendees to PNA run coaching clinics must be affiliated with a PNA Club or School.
Primary School Coaching Clinics
A practical coaching clinic designed for new coaches of Primary school aged teams. This clinic will cover key coaching points, skills, court strategies, the Knee Program and how to conduct a training session.
These clinics are presented by Tracy Meade.

On the Court Series
PNA run our ‘On the Court’ coaching sessions at various times throughout the year.
These sessions are aimed at coaches working with athletes aged year 7 to open, however, all coaches are more than welcome to register.

Executing the Basics for
Student and New Coaches
Monday, 25th March 2024
Presented by Tibbie Galbraith
This session will focus on the basic skills and drills for whole court success and assist in starting the 2024 seasoning by executing the basics. This session will be interactive and is aimed at Student aged coaches and first time coaches. Basics include ball work, footwork, leads and phases of defence. This is an excellent session to gain confidence in your knowledge and provide some ideas to get the 2024 underway.
Accreditation Courses
Foundation Coach Online Accreditation
The Foundation Coach Online Course outlines introductory coaching information and basic netball techniques for beginner coaches, teaches, parents and NetSetGO coaches.
This course is solely online and is the first step in the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme from Netball Australia.

Face-to-Face Development Accreditation
Presented by Sian Geldenhuys.
Have you completed the Development Course Theory and are ready to do the Face-to-Face Component? The Development Coach Workshop is an opportunity for Learners to put their theory into practice under the guidance of accreditation netball facilitators. This session combines theory and practical on-court activities.
