Across all levels of netball played at PNA, we encourage our coaches to have the appropriate level of knowledge and skills to create a fun, enjoyable and safe environment for participants.

PNA runs courses to assist coaches of all ages and skill levels in their development, and can assist coaches towards gaining Netball Australia accreditation.

There is also a range of great online resources and tools to assist with all aspects of becoming a great coach.

2025 Coaching Clinics

Attendees to PNA run coaching clinics must be affiliated with a PNA Club or School.

Primary School Coaching Clinics

These practical coaching clinics are designed for new coaches of Primary school aged teams. 

These clinics are presented by Tracy Meade.

On the Court Series

PNA run our ‘On the Court’ coaching sessions at various times throughout the year.

These sessions are aimed at coaches working with athletes aged year 7 to open, however, all coaches are more than welcome to register. Please complete a new registration form, for each clinic you wish to attend.

Accreditation Courses

Foundation Coach Online Accreditation

The Foundation Coach Online Course outlines introductory coaching information and basic netball techniques for beginner coaches, teaches, parents and NetSetGO coaches.

This course is solely online and is the first step in the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme from Netball Australia.

Cost: $75

Development Face to Face Accreditation Course

The Development Coach Workshop is an opportunity for Learners to put their theory into practice under the guidance of accreditation netball facilitators. This session combines theory and practical on-court activities.

Requirements

Must hold a Foundation Coach Accreditation ($75), have completed the Development Coach Online Course ($65) and have a current Rules of Netball Exam with a pass mark of 70% or higher ($13).

Cost: $79

When: Saturday 29th March 2025

Time: 8:30am – 1:00pm

Intermediate Coach Course

For those aiming to coach at representative level. The Intermediate Coach Course is a 6-part face to face workshop, delivered by experienced Netball Coaches to aspiring Intermediate Coaches. The workshops involve completion of a variety of worksheets and assignments, including development of a session plan.

Requirements

Must hold a Development Coach Accreditation for 1 year.

Cost: $208

Please note, this course has two components (online theory and practical). 

Online Theory

When: Thursday, 8th May 2025 (Online Zoom)

Time: 6:15pm – 7:45pm

Practical

When: Sunday, 18th May 2025 (Gold Netball Centre) 

Time: 11:30am – 4:00pm
