PNA Development News

29th August 2018

There are a number of exciting new developments happening around PNA in regards to development of players, coaches and new competitions.

As you may have noticed, there have been a number of people going around the courts at Matthews over the last few weeks TIDing our local talent.  Those players who have been Talent Identified will be receiving a letter shortly inviting them to participate in a new program being run by PNA called the PIPP program.  PIPP stands for Perth Identified Players Pathway and it will consist of 2 x 4 week sessions run through October and November.  More details will be sent to clubs shortly.

We will still be running trials for the Association Championships teams and these will occur early next year.  Netball WA is also planning a new competition for Association representative teams to be held early next year and more details on this will be advised as soon as it comes to hand.

We will also look at the PIPP program as an opportunity to develop coaches.  This will be a very hands on approach to learning.  A request will be sent to all clubs shortly asking for nominations as we need both experienced and “keen to learn” coaches.
