Perth Netball Association celebrated the outstanding talent within its community at this year’s All Star Team, MVP, and Coaching award announcements, recognising excellence across the Opens, 9/12’s, and 7/8’s divisions.

Deanne Quartermaine is the 2025 recipient of the Bette Allison Coaching Award, recognised for her passion, commitment, and outstanding contribution to netball as a coach, mentor, and role model within the PNA and wider community.

In the Opens All Stars, some of the competition’s most consistent and impactful players were named, with defenders Simone Gates (City Beach Surfers 1), Madison Davis (Scarborough) and Morgan Styles (City Beach Surfers 1) standing tall. The midcourt was represented by Lindal Rohde (Classics 1), Laura Jenour (Scarborough) and Emily Dwyer (Scarborough), while the shooting circle featured Rylee Norton (Wembley 1), Mia Burton (Classics 1) and Madeleine Ash (City Beach Surfers 1).

Adding to her All Star selection, Lindal Rohde capped off a stellar season by being awarded the prestigious Doornbusch Medal.

The 9/12’s Rising Stars line-up showcased the next generation of netball talent, with standout defenders Maya Brincker (MLC), Lily Heffernan (City Beach Surfers 1) and Dyllan Roberts (West Coasters). The centre court was dominated by Renee Pickett (Guildford Grammar), Livinia Martin (Classics 1) and Lily Triscari (Perth College), while in attack, Sienna Van Maanen (City Beach Surfers 1), Alexis Strange (Perth College) and Dakota Dimer (Storm) impressed.

Rising star Alexis Strange was also recognised with the Kerry Gates F&B Medal for her outstanding contributions.

In the youngest division, the 7/8’s Bright Stars, the talent pool was equally impressive. Defenders Kayleigh Howard (Perth College), Miley Jasper (Storm) and Harper Holmes (Classics 2) were rewarded for their defensive grit. Midcourt playmakers Sophie Tay (St Hilda’s), Eva Tomasini (Classics 1) and Jessica Avins (Newman Sienna) also earned their place, while the shooting circle was represented by Neve Hayles-Stenhouse (Classics 1), Zara Gompertz (Classics 2) and Adelaide Soo (MLC).

The Gayle Watson-Galbraith F&B Medal was awarded to Kayleigh Howard for her exceptional performances.

PNA congratulates all athletes named in the All Star Teams and the recipients of this year’s MVP awards, recognising their dedication, skill, and sportsmanship throughout the season.
