Perth Netball Association Executive is pleased to announce the appointment of Troy Starcevich to the position of Executive Officer of the Association following a rigorous selection process conducted by members of the Executive with the assistance of professional employment agency StaffLink.

Troy brings to PNA many years of valuable experience in sport and recreation administration primarily at ‘grass roots’ level in a variety of Executive and Administrative roles at both the WA Cricket Association and the WA Football Commission. His extensive work experience includes leading staff and working alongside club officials, committees, community groups and volunteers. Troy has the skill sets to work in consultation with our key stakeholders on the implementation of the PNA Strategic Business Plan (and our other operational and planning documents) and will apply a particular focus on governance and the development and review of key policies and procedures, budgets, financial planning, sponsorship and marketing.

Troy is himself committed and passionate about sport, is very familiar with netball on and off the court (as a previous player himself) and he greatly enjoys working with committed and passionate volunteers, plenty of whom we have at PNA.

Troy is married to Cherie, a former regional netballer and has two children one of whom plays netball in the Darling Range Development Squad. Troy has literally grown up in and around netball at the Matthews’ Netball Centre, being the son of Perth legend the late Flo Starcevich.

Troy commenced in the role on Monday 16th November and we know we can count on everyone to welcome Troy to our Association and to provide the necessary support to him while he settles in and learns the PNA ropes.
