PNA is running a free Mental Health Awareness workshop on Tuesday 23rd August. The workshop is an important part of our Mental Health Awareness round on Saturday 27th August.

The aim of Mental Health Awareness round is to give people the confidence to help others who either come to them with mental health concerns or are displaying the signs.

Workshop

A key component of our round will be a Mental Health Awareness workshop.   This will be held on Tuesday 23rd August from 6.30pm to 8pm in the PNA Hall.  The workshop will provide attendees with the resources to identify the symptoms of mental health concerns and equip them to know what to say if a player or club member spoke to them about any concerns they were having.

The workshop will be facilitated by Jodii Maguire from Think Performance.  Jodii is a highly respected practitioner with over 15 year’s experience in Performance Psychology, Leadership Development, Well-being and human resources in both organisational and sporting contexts across Australia.

While anyone is welcome to attend, the workshop is targeted towards club officials and coaches of high school and open age teams.  Places will be strictly limited so please ensure that you book early by contacting Ashlin in the PNA office on pnaadmin@perthnetball.com.au before 5pm on Thursday 18th August.
