The Green Shirt Program is a practical and theory based umpiring program designed for beginner umpires, of all ages, looking to begin their journey as an umpire at a grassroots level.
The purpose of this program is to provide a supportive culture for beginner umpires to develop their skills, and to make umpiring a valued and attractive option of all young netballers. We are asking the players, coaches, and spectators to keep this in mind during the competition so that we can get the best competition and best development possible for all participants in the spring competition.
We have 58 umpires involved this Spring and they are covering all the Year 6 teams and some of the Year 5 teams by request.
